Busser/Expeditor/Bar-Back

Bussers assist the waiters and waitresses by monitoring and cleaning tables throughout service. Generally their duties include setting and clearing the table of dishes during the meal.  The overall appearance of the dining room falls under the bussers’ responsibility.  They may also help bring food from the kitchen and serve.  Must be willing to help out wherever necessary at all times, including picking up trash, sweeping, and cleaning of tables, floors, equipment, etc.

Expeditors communicate food orders and information between the front of house and back of house, making sure that food is cooked in the right order, quickly, and presented to the customer as attractively as possible.  Must be able to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Bar-Backs assist the bartenders with keeping the bars stocked, clean, and organized.  Must be comfortable lifting/carrying heavy objects such as moving kegs, carrying cases of beer up stairs, stocking large buckets of ice, etc.
