Our private banquet room, "The Oak Room" boasts a newly refinished hardwood floor and a private balcony. It can accomodate up to 80 guests (seated) has great natural lighting from it's French doors and multiple windows.  Separate from the rest of the second level, the audio and video system includes a 50" screen television, as well as a DVD player and a 5-disc CD player. The Oak Room's atmosphere can be as formal or as informal as you would prefer.

The South Lyon Hotel offers a wide variety of menu options to choose from. From hors d'oeuvres and cocktails to dinner entrees and buffets, our food quality is second to none. Our various buffet options range from casual appetizers to formal dinners.

You can choose from three beverage options; a Basic Open Bar, Standard Open Bar, and Premium Open Bar, all with a 5 hour limit. A Cash Bar is available, in which your guests are able to purchase drinks on an individual basis, as is a Host Bar, in which select items are sponsored and paid for by the host of the party.

The Oak Room can accommodate functions as small as 20 guests, or as large as 80 guests. Rental of the room costs $100, which includes set-up, clean-up, table linens, and table centerpieces. All buffet tables are fully skirted, and table layouts can be set up to your individual preference.
